Math: We began Topic 2: Addition Strategies.  Please complete the addition facts sheet with +0, +1, and +2.

Grammar: We began talking about "Subjects" in a sentence.

Spelling: Read your words

Science: We are working on Ch. 6: The Solar System.

Other: Tomorrow is Day 7...Music.

Monday, Sept. 21

Reading: Read your new vocab words for "Exploring Space".

Math: Complete the addition fact worksheet.

Grammar: We are starting to learn about "Subjects" in sentences.

Spelling: Please read your new word list, words with the long vowel sound.

Science: We are working the Ch. 6 and discussed the phases of the moon.  Keep looking up into that night time sky and observe the stars and moon.

Other: Tomorrow is Day 6...Gym. 

Thursday, Sept. 17

Reading: Please read "What is in That Sack".

Math: Review the Reteaching workmat that was completed in class today.  Topic 1 test tomorrow.

Grammar: Please complete the sentence worksheet.  The sentence test is tomorrow.

Spelling: None

Science: We are working on Ch. 6: The Solar System.

Other: Tomorrow is Day 4...Library.  Just a few more "All About Me" tees are due tomorrow. 

Wednesday, Sept. 16

Reading: Please study your vocab words for "The Twin Club".  The test will be tomorrow.

Math: Please complete the front and back of 1-6..."Fact Families".

Grammar: We are working on complete sentences.  Our test will be Friday. 

Spelling: None

Science: We are working on Ch. 6: The Solar System.

Other:  Tomorrow is Day 3...Computers.  Please don't forge to bring ear buds to school for computer class.  Please don't forget about your "All About Me" tee. 

* Friday is my birthday so I will be bringing in a special treat for the boys and girls.  :)

Tuesday, Sept. 15th

Reading:  None      "The Twin Club" test will be on Thursday.

Math: Front and back of 1-5     Topic 1 test will be Friday.

Grammar: We are working on complete sentences.  We will be having our Sentence test on Friday.

Spelling: Please complete the alphabetical order worksheet and review your words.  Test on List #1 will now be Wednesday. 

Science: Today we discussed the sun and how we need the sun's light and heat. 

Other: Tomorrow will be Day 1...Gym.  Please don't forget your "All About Me" tee.

Friday, Sept. 11th

Spelling:  Test on List #1 will be on Tuesday.

Reading:   We are hoping to have the test on "The Twin Club" on Wednesday.
