Reading: We will be starting our new story on Tuesday.

Math: We will be working on our basic addition facts.

Grammar: We will be starting our first skill on Tuesday.

Spelling: We will be starting our first list on Tuesday.

Science: We will be starting our first Chapter soon.

Other:  There is no school on Monday.  Tuesday will be Day 6...Computers.

Thursday, Aug. 30th

Reading: We will be starting our first story, skill, and vocab word list on Tuesday.

Math: We will be working on our basic addition facts.

Grammar: We will be starting our first skill, Sentences, on Tuesday.

Spelling: We will start our first list on Tuesday.

Science: We will be starting our first chapter soon.

Other:  Tomorrow will be Day 5...Art.  We will also be having a Pep Rally at our Spartan Stadium tomorrow.  Go NS!  Please remember...we do not have school on Monday, Sept. 3rd to celebrate Labor Day.

Wednesday, Aug. 29

Reading: We will be starting our new story, skill, and vocab words next week.

 Math: We will be completing a Baseline test for skills we will be working on this year.  This is just to see where the students are and what they remember from first grade.

 Grammar: We will be starting our first skill, Complete Sentences, next week.

 Spelling: We will be starting our first list next week.

 Science: We will be starting our first Chapter next week.

 Other:  Tomorrow is Day 4...Keyboarding.  Thank you for sending in your first day forms.  If you still need to send them in please do so by Friday, Aug. 31st.  We are having a Spartan Pep Rally on Friday to support our Football team getting ready to head to Shamokin.  Go NS Spartans!

Tuesday, August 28th

Reading: None

Math: None

Grammar: None

 Spelling: None

 Science: None

 Other:  Tomorrow will be Day 3...Gym.  Please continue to send in your first day papers and the "Sailing into Second Grade" papers.  Thank you to those who already sent them in.  We will not have any homework today.  In your child's folder is a Weekender Backpack Program paper.  Have a great Tuesday.

Monday, Aug. 27th

Reading: Welcome Back Everyone!!!  Please continue to fill out those first day papers in the Lighthouse folder.  Also, please continue to work on the "Sailing Into Second Grade" paper.  We can start presenting those tomorrow to get to know our classmates.  :)
