Spelling: Study spelling words.  Test is tomorrow.

Science: We are continuing to do Ch. 6:  The Solar System.

Other: Tomorrow is Day 2...Music.  Please don't forget to bring in your field trip permission slip.  Our field trip is on Thursday(rain date Friday) to Lake Tobias.  Don't forget to pack a lunch in a throw away bag.  :)

Monday, September 28th

Reading: Review your vocab and read "Exploring Space With An Astronaut".

Math: None

Grammar: We are continuing working on subjects.  The test will be Wednesday.

Spelling: Please review your spelling list.  The test is Wednesday.

Science: We are continuing to talk about Our Solar System.

Other:Tomorrow is Day 1...Gym.  Our field trip is this Thursday(raindate Friday) to Lake Tobias.  Please be sure your child has a packed lunch in  a throw away bag.  Also, if you did not return your permission slip for the trip yet please do so before Thursday.  :)  Tomorrow for Spirit Week is "Decades Day".

Spelling: Write words 8-14 2x each

Science:  We talked about the 8 planets today...Poor Pluto!!

Wednesday, Sept. 23

Reading: Read "Ike and Ace" or "We Can Do a Lot"

Math: We practiced the doubles addition facts today up to 10+10.

Grammar: We are working on subjects in a sentence.

Spelling: Please write words 1 to 7 2x each

Science: We talked about the 8 planets and why we no longer have 9.

Other:Tomorrow is Day 8...Computers.  Please sign and return the Field Trip permission slip.  We are going to Lake Tobias on Oct. 1st.

Math: We began Topic 2: Addition Strategies.  Please complete the addition facts sheet with +0, +1, and +2.

Grammar: We began talking about "Subjects" in a sentence.

Monday, Sept. 21

Reading: Read your new vocab words for "Exploring Space".

Math: Complete the addition fact worksheet.

Grammar: We are starting to learn about "Subjects" in sentences.

Spelling: Please read your new word list, words with the long vowel sound.

Science: We are working the Ch. 6 and discussed the phases of the moon.  Keep looking up into that night time sky and observe the stars and moon.

Other: Tomorrow is Day 6...Gym.

Reading: Please read "What is in That Sack".

Math: Review the Reteaching workmat that was completed in class today.  Topic 1 test tomorrow.

Grammar: Please complete the sentence worksheet.  The sentence test is tomorrow.

Science: We are working on Ch. 6: The Solar System.

Other: Tomorrow is Day 4...Library.  Just a few more "All About Me" tees are due tomorrow.
