Math: Please review the Topic 3 Reteaching packet for the Topic 3 test tomorrow.

Grammar: We are working on Proper nouns.

Spelling: Sailboat 11 to 15 or putting the five words in alphabetical order

Science:  On Friday we will be discussing turkeys in honor of our upcoming holiday.  :)

Monday, October 7th

Reading:  Please review vocab and read story.  The tests are tomorrow. 

Math:  On the boys' and girls' homework paper we have front and back of 4-3.  I am cancelling that as homework for tonight but forgot to get rid of it on the homework paper.  You will not find it in their homework folder.

Grammar: We have started talking about commands and exclamation sentences.

Spelling: Please do sailboat writing 1 to 5.

Phonics:  None

Other:  Our field trip is Thursday!!

Thursday, October 3rd

Reading: Please review vocab and read story

Phonics:  Back of 23

Math: No homework tonight

Grammar: We are starting command and exclamation sentences.

Spelling: Sailboat writing 16 to 20     Test is tomorrow.

Science: We are learning about the desert to go with our reading story.

Other:  We have library tomorrow but the boys and girls will not be exchanging books.  Also, we have our field trip to Lake Tobias on Thursday, October 10th.

Reading: Please review vocab and read "Henry and Mudge"

Math: Front and back of 2-4

Grammar: We are working on statement and question sentences.

Spelling: Sailboat 1 to 5.

Other: Please bring back your field trip permission form if you haven't done so already.  Our field trip is Thursday, October 10th.

Thursday, September 19th

Reading: Read vocab for "Henry and Mudge"

Math:  Front and back of 2-2

Grammar: We are working on statement and question sentences.

Spelling: Please study your words and do sailboat writing 16 to 20.  Test is tomorrow.

Phonics:  Complete back of #16.


Other:  Pep rally tomorrow!!  Go Spartans!  Don't forget your library books.

Monday, Sept. 16th

Reading: Please read your vocab and the story "Exploring Space with an Astronaut".  The vocab test and comprehension test will be on Wednesday.

Math: None

Grammar: We are working on complete sentences and our sentence test will be tomorrow.  We have been practicing every day in school so we did not feel it was necessary to send homework tonight.

Spelling: Sailboat writing 1 to 5

Science:

Phonics: Back of both #13 worksheets.

Tuesday, Sept. 10th

Reading: Please review your vocab and read "Exploring Space with an Astronaut" pgs. 46 to 53.

Math:  No homework tonight   Our first math test on Topic 1 will be Friday.

Grammar: We are working on learning complete sentence rules and writing complete sentences properly.

Spelling: Please write words 11 to 20 (2 times each)  Test is Thursday.

Phonics:  Please complete the back of both #9 papers.

Other:  We will shop at Book Fair on Friday.
