Tuesday, Sept. 8th

Reading: Please review your vocab words for "The Twin Club" and read "Gus"

Math: We are working on addition and subtraction strategies in Topic 1.

Grammar: We are working on finding and writing complete sentences.  Don't forget about those meatball spaces...muah!!

Spelling: Please write 1 to 7  2x each.  Don't forget...your spelling list is in your horse folder.

Science: We are working on talking about the sun, moon, stars, and planets in our solar system.

Other: Tomorrow is Day 7...Music.  Don't forget to have your "All About Me" tee ready for your date.  Tomorrow our presenters are Kirsten, Jodi, and Austin.

Reading: Please read your new vocab words in your notebook for our new story "The Twin Club".

Math: We are working on Topic 1: Addition and Subtraction Strategies. 

Grammar: We began talking about Sentences today.

Science: We have started Chapter 6: The Solar System.

Other: Tomorrow is Day 5...Art.  We are having a Spartan Pride Day/Pep Rally tomorrow so students are able to wear gym clothes.  Also, we have a schedule change for Day 2...Music.  We will now have Mrs. Schwartz for Music class on Day 2.  :)

Wednesday, September 2nd

Reading: Most students covered their new reading books.  If your child brought their reading book home, please put a book cover on the book.  :) 

Math: We started Topic 1 today...Addition and Subtraction strategies.

Science: We talked a little about our first Chapter: The Solar System.
